Mark Swadener

Principal

Mr. Swadener has over 15 years of experience in management and operations of engineering and operational assets in several basins throughout the US.  Most recently he managed vertical and horizontal development and operations in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico for small privately funded E&P companies.  Mr. Swadener’s focus on Permian development and operations during his management has yielded significant expertise in both the Midland and Delaware Basins, the Central Basin Platform and the Northwest Shelf.

Mr. Swadener started his career with Occidental Petroleum as an engineer focused on primary, secondary and tertiary exploitation of the San Andres and ABO formations in West Texas.  Following his time at Occidental Petroleum, he gained significant experience at Denbury Resources in reservoir and operations planning, engineering, execution, and maintenance of Gulf Coast assets as well as the Jackson Dome CO2 source field.

Mr. Swadener holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.

RC Lagomarsino

Principal

Mr. Lagomarsino has over 10 years of experience with small to mid-size E&P companies in roles including reserves management, engineering, geosciences, development planning, exploration, and acquisitions & divestitures.  He has sourced and evaluated operated and non-operated acquisition/divestment opportunities in Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming.  For most of his career, Mr. Lagomarsino has specialized in Permian Basin geologic analysis, reservoir characterization, and economic modeling of conventional and unconventional vertical and horizontal development.

Mr. Lagomarsino started his career as a geological engineer for Matador Resources Company where he conducted resource play evaluations for the geosciences and reservoir engineering teams.  He also performed economic valuations and risk analysis on current assets, potential acquisitions, and joint ventures while managing company reserves.

Mr. Lagomarsino holds a Bachelor of Science in Geologic & Geophysical Sciences with a minor in Environmental Engineering from Princeton University.

Chris Pomeroy

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Pomeroy has over 19 years of experience in value-oriented investing, most recently as a private investor analyzing and allocating capital to private and public investment opportunities.  Mr. Pomeroy was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Principal at Durango Partners, a value oriented hedge fund in Arlington, TX.  While at Durango, Mr. Pomeroy was Portfolio Manager responsible for upwards of $385 MM of capital and pricing of all over-the-counter securities.  Mr. Pomeroy joined Durango Partners as an Analyst at its founding in 2001.

Mr. Pomeroy is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University

Brandon Finks

Vice President of Land & Business Development

Brandon Finks is the Vice President of Business Development of DGP and has jointly led the team since inception.  Mr. Finks oversees the company’s acquisition and divestiture activities. Prior to joining DGP, Mr. Finks spent more than 14 years in corporate business development and energy risk management roles.  Most recently, Mr. Finks was a Partner at Lockton Companies one of the world’s largest energy risk finance consulting firms where he directed the North Texas energy practice.

Mr. Finks is an active member of the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth, Dallas Petroleum Club, Young Professionals in Energy, Fort Worth Wildcatters, and ADAM Permian.  Mr. Finks currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth.  Mr. Finks holds a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Ryan O’Connell

Vice President of Geosciences

Mr. O’Connell has over 10 years of experience in the geologic exploration, production, and development of coal, oil, and natural gas. He has experience in various plays including, the Permian, Piceance,

Appalachian, and Fort Worth Basins. His expertise includes prospect evaluations, petrophysical analysis, development stratigraphy and mapping, secondary recovery methods, and core analysis.

Mr. O’Connell has completed a variety of Geologic roles for EnCap, Urban Oil & Gas, Murray Energy, Dominion, and Petroleum Development.

Mr. O’Connell holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Geology from University of Texas at Dallas.

Craig Hons

Vice President of Operations

Mr. Hons has over 10 years of engineering and operational experience in operations engineering, project management, and full team asset management for small to midsize E&P companies. His asset experience includes Haynesville shale, Barnett Shale, and Delaware Basin. Mr. Hons specialties include multi-faceted, full life cycle, operational aptitude from new well development and lean operations, asset divestiture evaluation, presentation, and deal closure.

Mr. Hons started his career with Halliburton and moved into various operational roles for Trinity River Energy in NLA, STX, and NTX.

Mr. Hons holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
